Discussing Do you think Apple is still in the Pro Photography Arena?

There is an interesting thread in the Flickr Aperture group discussing if Aperture (and tom some extent Apple) is in the “Pro” market segment. True that since Apple launched its AppStore, it did lower the retail price of AP. Read on.

    I took the Aperture price drop as a good sign for the future of the application. They used it as a way to promote the app store and at the same time grow the user base. I wouldn’t be worried.

    Michael, I am keeping my copy too. Just wish that it would better integrate with my iPad however, an area where LightRoom is somewhat better…

    What type of integration are you interested in, simpler transferring of photos? Or do you want more functionality, like an Aperture Light for the iPad?
