Photosmith Syncs iPad with Lightroom

It is out and it is awesome.

Photosmith addresses the true workflow needs of any mobile photographer by allowing you to import, tag, rate and sync your pics back to your main library.

Photosmith fulfills all requirements set forth in my blog post of January.

All but one: it is for Lightroom only. Not Aperture. Arggg.

Is there any iPad organizer that works with iPhoto or aperture? I have both and would love to have a product similar to this one. Thanks r

      Rafie,

No, currently there does not exist such product. I am however working with a company that will come out with something like that. Can’t say more for now. NDA. Stay tuned 🙂

Pixelsync does let you transfer photos (via wifi) from Aperture to Pixelsync on the iPad. You can rate and label and then transfer the metadata back. No keywords though. It takes a while to transfer but it does work.

I know. PixelSync is a great app. However, it does not allow syncing from the iPad to Aperture, which Is really what I am looking for.

Yes, that would be great. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with when you can discuss publicly!
