The iPhone 4 Is Officially The Most Popular Camera On Flickr

A number of sites have posted the news today. Here’s the clip from EverythingCafe.com that the iPhone has now surpassed the venerable Nikon D90, my venerable one, as the most popular “camera” on Flickr.

Cool. Probably easy too with all those apps that allow seamless syncing of pics like this one.

What surprises me is that very few Android phones are there. Actually only one.

Sure, the Android hardware market is much more fragmented then the iPhone one, but one should nevertheless expect a few phone sets, oups “cameras”, to leave their marks, no?

Or is it that Android owners do not use their phones as “intelligently” as they should?

But what is really amazing in this list, is not the first place nor your venerable camera, but the one in third place, since it is a $2,700 camera, the Canon EOS-5D Mark II; that is quite an achievement for such a camera.
